Today, TIP TALKS will feature a number of items from “Organic Bytes”, provided by an
organization that has been respected for many years, the Organic Consumers Association.
Some of the Organic Bytes articles will be startling – but consider the sources given and
use your own logic to weigh the possibilities. TIP does not take stands on all the specifics
provided (by this or other articles we share). But, we see enough sense in them to at least
consider the info and thinking offered. What is important is to read/hear what is being
provided by various sides of controversy – and then decide what we believe.
(Often mixed – we may agree with one on a particular point or claim –
but disagree on another). And, consider the sources. Note also that we
do not take any political positions.
One clear position we do take – whether or not the genetic engineering
of viruses is a “cause” for Covid, it is, just as with the GMOs in our food,
a risky business and potential threat to our health. And, the concept of
biowarfare is really scary. So, I do urge you to sign the petition to

HELP PROTECT THE GIRL SCOUTS FROM WIRELESS RADIATION!

Hundreds of peer-reviewed, scientific studies have linked exposure to RF
microwave (wireless) radiation with serious reproductive, neurological and
other health problems. Proximity to the radiation source has been identified
as a significant factor. Even cell phone manufacturers warn users to keep
devices away from the body. The new Girl Scout uniforms have been designed
with a sash containing a special pocket for cell phones, keeping the phone in
close proximity to the reproductive organs and developing breasts of young girls.
We call on the Girl Scouts of the United States of America to protect the health and safety
of all young scouts and reduce their exposure to harmful RF microwave radiation by:
(1) Requiring manufacturers to include RF shielding material on the back
of the sash to reduce exposure;
(2) Alerting scouts and leaders to the potential harm caused by exposure
to RF microwave radiation from cell phones;
(3) Encouraging scouts to use phones only on speaker mode or with headphones
rather than holding the phone near the head.

Congress is considering landmark legislation that would take serious action to
protect Americans from toxic chemical pesticides! The Protect America's Children
from Toxic Pesticides Act would ban some of the most notorious pesticides, including
neonics and chlorpyrifos! For decades, Big Ag has stopped the EPA from taking action
on these chemicals. We need to make sure they don't stop this legislation. Can you take

ALASKA MINE 'CANNOT BE PERMITTED,' TRUMP
ADMINISTRATION RULES IN MAJOR REVERSAL

08/24/2020 Trump administration officials had been concerned for months that the project
was unworkable, a person familiar with the plan told POLITICO. The Trump administration
threw up major hurdles for a planned copper and gold mine in Alaska on Monday, a move
that could kill the project that had drawn opposition from environmentalists, recreational
groups and prominent Republicans. The current proposal for the Pebble Mine at Bristol Bay
"cannot be permitted," the Army Corps of Engineers said, and it called for a series of strict
conditions the project's developers would need to meet offset the environmental harms
that the massive project would have on world's largest sockeye salmon fishery.
