Our Bumper Sticker
We recently heard of a woman who had to move from our neighborhood in Providence out to Lincoln. Her next door neighbor kept using pesticides, and her medical problems got to be too much.
Pets can’t read those little lawn chemical flags. Worse, cats are fastidious and clean themselves. At our traveling booth we’ve heard tales of 7 cats, 11 dogs and 2 flocks of geese that have gone on lawns and then died. One other cat and 2 other dogs reportedly got immediately sick but survived. Ordinary people volunteer this information. We've heard corroborating chilling stories from one or two people who used to work for lawn care companies.
Many of us don’t have the luxury of moving. You should nudge your neighbors now with one of our neighbor-friendly Bumper Stickers! Your whole block should be safe for mothers, kids, pets and the local birds too!
We sell the bumper stickers for $2. They’re 11 1/2 inches long. We can mail one or two for $0.60 in oversize postage costs.

Our T-shirts are 100% organic cotton, with our circular logo printed
in black on canary yellow shirts. We
chose soy-based inks. We avoided the vinyl chloride printing process because we're committed to healthy shirts.
The shirts are well-outgassed. Our organic Tees are $14 plus shipping costs. They run from Adult small to Adult XXL.
Sorry, but we're sold out of children's sizes.
Our tote bags are canary yellow, with our circular logo printed in black. Again, we use soy-based inks and won't touch the vinyl chloride printing process with a 10 foot pole. The tote bags are cotton but aren't organic. They are $7.
People kept asking us tough lawn and garden questions. That’s why we added reference books to our traveling booth. Then people kept asking to buy our reference books, so now we sell them.
Lynn Tondat Ruggeri, Ph.D. is a Professor Emerita at the University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth. Her specialty area is Physiological Psychology with an emphasis on the study of the brain and behavior. She and Laura Costa, Ph.D. brought out "Safer for Your Baby: A Guide to Living Better with Fewer Chemicals" in April of 2005. Lynn is on TIP's advisory committee.
"Safer for Your Baby" is quite easy for the average person to read. It's concise and practical. Drs. Ruggeri and Costa try not to make any claims without rigorous scientific evidence backing them up, which makes the book's repeated questionings of so many products' safety an eye-opener.
"Safer for Your Baby" is $6 plus postage.
Plants can help clear the air in your house or at your office. "How to Grow Fresh Air" is a guide to which plants take toxic chemicals out of the air, and how to maintain these particular plants. $16.95 plus shipping..
